Management launched in 1999 and based in Reykjavik. The agency
represents a pool of actors, models, writers and directors in
Iceland, Denmark, Sweden and Norway. The aim of the agency is
to bridge the gap between talented Nordic professionals and
the casting agents and film and commercial companies looking
to employ them. 7 NMA artists have been honoured as “European
Shooting Stars” by the European Film Promotion society.
This is introduced at the Berlin International Film Festival
and showcased at the Cannes and Toronto International Film Festivals. |
In December 1999, Icelandic actor, Ingvar E Sigurdsson won
the People’s Choice Award for Best Actor at the European
Film Academy Awards, for his performance in Fridrik Thor Fridriksson’s
Angels of the Universe.
